Advanced Practice Nurse

An Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) can be delineated from other areas of nursing practice by the additional legislative functions and regulatory requirements of the nurse practitioner endorsement. These requirements include a prescribed educational level, a specified advanced nursing practice experience; and continuing professional development.

Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) is the national peak body for nurse practitioners and advanced practice nurses in Australia. 

We have two categories of membership:

Full Member for AHPRA-endorsed Nurse Practitioners $230 inc gst per year

Associate Member for Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Medical Professionals, Allied Health Professionals, Academics, Students and others $180 inc gst per year
